This position if possible, will train on 1st shift.
Job Description:
The floor inspector will monitor the quality of product within the plant in all processes until product is shipped out.
Key
Responsibilities:
Check temper on parts coming out of oven.
Check parts to prints in all departments.
Calibrate calipers as required.
Pickup all gauges to be calibrated (out-sourced).
Understand and apply control plan requirements.
Document results in SPC program, when necessary.
Check sample weight per foot.
Put reject tags on non-conforming products.
Inspect non-conforming product in all departments.
Inspect inventory for consistency.
Inspect returned material from customers.
Check to make sure parts are racked according to print in the anodize and paint departments.
Assist employees on proper way to run material.
Any other tasks as assigned by supervisor.
